What I can offer is a bespoke wedding ceremony that will sum up your love for one another, weaving stories of your relationship to make you, your friends and family laugh, cry and whoop with joy!
It’s all about the two of you
This is all about the two of you – not what Aunt Mary or Second Cousin Bob wants from a wedding. You have the opportunity to work closely with me to create something that is totally unique and special. A one-off. How cool is that! I write humour-filled ceremonies for modern, fun couples, I’m not a lovey-dovey, hearts and flowers kind of celebrant but my ceremonies have just the right amount of heartfelt moments.
I offer a complimentary no obligation introductory meeting (by phone, video call or in person) so you can discover if I will be the perfect celebrant for you (I hope so, I do LOVE a wedding!), interviews to get to know you and the story of your relationship, follow up calls, draft scripts along the way, a rehearsal if required and the ceremony itself.
You will receive advice and guidance that will give you inspiration and ideas for readings, music, song lyrics, vow examples, and a guide to help you write your vows if you are feeling particularly creative.
A Wedding Ceremony all About You
My ceremonies can be simple and classy, a mash up of song lyrics and movie quotes, loud and interactive, or somewhere inbetween. They will however all have an element of humour in them. Want to get all your guests up dancing whilst we all sing a pop song? Not a problem! How about including your beloved pets as ring bearers? Easy peasy! Anything and everything can be written into your ceremony to make it extra special and personal to you both. The beauty of a celebrant is you can get married anywhere, at any time with a ceremony that reflects you as a couple.
I will liaise directly with the venue coordinator, wedding planner, and anyone involved in the ceremony beforehand and on the day.
I have a PAT-tested PA system and microphones that will easily work with a wedding of more than 100 guests for outdoor ceremonies. It also has the capability to play music via USB or Bluetooth. A copy of my Personal Liability Insurance can be provided in the lead up to your ceremony if required.
Memories to keep
Following your special day you will receive a beautifully presented digital copy of your ceremony script.
If you would like to use and keep props for your ceremony or would like to involve symbolic rituals such as a sand ceremony, ring warming, handfasting, these can be added for an extra fee. Ask about these for detailed information and options.
