Welcome! I’m Helen,
I am a Sheffield-based wedding celebrant writing and performing weddings, vow renewals and namings for modern, fun couples and families looking for humour-filled ceremonies.
My ceremonies are personal, unique, and memorable events. I specialise in ceremonies that are a mixture of humour and heartfelt.
A Ceremony Just for you
Traditional, wildly alternative or rolling around the aisles laughing, I will help you to plan and create a memorable ceremony for all the right reasons, which is unique to you. I specialise in humour-filled ceremonies that will make you and your guests chuckle, belly laugh and shed happy tears.
The content of a celebrant ceremony is not restricted to any culture, faith or religion. If you wish to also incorporate a cultural or religious tradition into your ceremony, you can.
I live on the South Yorkshire/North Derbyshire border so am happy to travel across Yorkshire, Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire. I spent the first half of my life in Berkshire, so with family and friends still living there I am happy to stay with them or travel further afield – I do love an adventure!

Helen took the time to visit us in our home and meet with Isla to make sure she was completely relaxed before her 'big day', taking the time to listen to our anecdotes, memories and pass a tissue when I cried (and I did that a few times!). The result was a perfect..... I was going to say 'script' but it was so much more than that. It was a story about the journey of our lives together as a family and how both our daughters have made that so wonderfully complete. It was a celebration of our wonderful, constantly hungry, whirlwind of a fabulous daughter!
